Have a play, but I find that Radial and Fast work very nicely. IIRC, Thomas suggested these as the ideal combo :)

Fastbox is faster with GPU rendering, radial better for smoother output with SS of 2+ but tiny little slower on CPU too...

Hi

I have downloaded Blendigo 3.8.5.2 and I have a problem with the exportation.
I had the 3.4 version of Indigo and the 3.2 version of Blendigo with the 2.71 version of Blender on Windows.
I installed the 3.6 version of Indigo then I have download the archive file for blendigo 3.8.5.2. I put the file named Indigo into the Blender/2.71/scripts/addons directory.
I have run Blender and tick the box in User preferences -> Render -> Blendigo
Then I verify that the path to Indigo in my scene is the one of Indigo 3.6.
When I press F12 to render my scene, the Indigo 3.6 open and I can save the .igs into the 3.6 version and that's what I want.
But, when I am on Blender and I go to File->Export as-> .igs, the igs created is in the 3.4 indigo version : No <model2>, no <uid>... I want the export in 3.6 too...
Do you have any idea to resolve the problem ?

Thanks,

Loïc

After a long absence from 3D I am upgrading Blender, Blendigo and Indigo.

I know I've asked for this before.
When releasing a new Blendigo exporter is it too much to ask for to all have a statement which Blender version it is compatible with ?

Hey Headroom - I'm using 2.69 and it's working very well. A friend of mine uses 2.70 and I don't recall him complaining about any bugs.

I remember some time ago you could choose an environment map directly in Blendigo. Is this option still included? I can't find it. It would be extremely useful for animations.

Add a Hemi light and check its settings.

Soooo... just upgraded to OS X Yosemite, which meant that I had to download the newest Blender version for blender to work. Blendigo doesn't install in Blender 2.72. Fix?

I just installed this Blendigo 3.8.5.2 into Blender 2.72 on Mavericks and that worked fine.
I used the "User Preferences -> Install from File" method.

I'll look into this.

Got it, I made a mistake in the installation process. I zipped the whole folder "Blendigo" and tried to install that, while I should just have zipped the folder inside it called "indigo". So: my mistake entirely.

Yep. I've done that several times myself.
I believe the download folder on Mac OSX is configured to automatically unpack zipped archives.

a request for Blendigo here - I've noticed that light layer gain is not exported correctly. Indigo always opens all light layers with a gain of 1.0, regardless of what you have it set it to in Blender, and the code looks outdated compared to what you get if you save the scene out of Indigo directly.

Hi,

is this version of blendigo supports all the features in the freshly released Indigorenderer 3.8?
If not, when it will be?

thanks.
