Installation doesn't work for me!

I installed Blender 2.63 and Blendigo mentioned here (bot 64 bit versions), I add a lamp and finally render scene, but It doesn't open Indigo RT (trial version), what's wrong with it can be ?

When it fails to render, is there an error message? Please mail this to support@indigorenderer.com and we'll get back to you ASAP!

It doesn't fail to render, just It doesn't open Indigo's GUI, and there are no errors displayed at all!
I tried to find a temporary saved file and opened it with Indigo render and it works OK.
The problem is only that it doesn't make it itself (adding this file to Indigo renderer after pressing RENDER in Blender)

Have you selected a correct path to the Indigo renderer in Blender's UI?

Is Auto Start enabled in blendigo render settings?

Console should say something like

Code: Select all

Info: [Indigo 2012-Jun-22 19:23:43] Export finished; took 0.077000 seconds
Info: [Indigo 2012-Jun-22 19:23:43] Starting indigo: ['C:/Program Files/Indigo Renderer/indigo.exe', 'c:/users/dag/appdata/local/temp/untitled.Scene.00001.igs', '-o', 'c:/users/dag/appdata/local/temp/untitled.Scene.00001.png']
Info: [Indigo 2012-Jun-22 19:23:43] Started Indigo process, PID: 9320

~dag

But I don't see any option to turn it ON. Should I edit python scripts myself ?

Ayyway I found in render_settings.py that it is turned On by default

line:237, render_settings.py

Code: Select all

'default': efutil.find_config_value('indigo', 'defaults', 'auto_start', True)

Yep, should be on by default. Try flicking it off and on.

Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

Unfortunately that is an incorrect assessment. It has exported the scene to a folder but has not started an instance of Indigo.
There are different folder settings for these two as the temporary file location where the exporter places your exported likes is likely different from the file location of the Indigo executable.
There is a field in the Render panel in Blendigo where you need to define the correct file location for the Indigo executable.

Edit: I see dag has already posted an image of the correct setting.

I am testing Indigo RT with Blender (demo), is there any option to add 2 or 3 environment map layers to scene ?
This is what I am looking for in this renderer, because V-Ray is a bit expensive and its integration with Blender is not the best.

I would like to add one small blured HDR file just for lightining scene, another one bigger for reflection on materials, and LDR made from this HDR (full size) as a world background.

Is it possible with Indigo RT or Indigo Full version at least ?

Hi, you should be able to make a blend-material and then use it as the background material.

Quick question.... Is Motion Blur for particules on the radar on a short or medium term??
