I am wondering if we should stop this discussion in tis thread that we hijacked and open a new one ?
Anyway, I've looked at rhino briefly a couple of years ago and really did not like the AuoCAD style of appearance, aside from the fact that it does not run on a mac (they are working on it though).
Coming from a Parametric solid modeling background (SolidWorks) I really like the construction history and ability to quickly evaluate different design options without having to basically redesign stuff.
In that respect I find http://www.solidthinking.com/ very appealing. It also offers integration/ conversion from NURBS to Subdivision surfaces which I find very interesting. They don't list any pricing on their website (a really STUPID practice IMHO) and I am waiting to hear back from them.
