This looks like something in your scene has a blank name? It might be a material, texture, object, mesh - it's not possible to tell from the console view. It might also be an un-assigned texture or something like that. Double check your mesh+materials setup - if the problem persists, try to trim down the scene to just the minimum that causes the error and post it here so that I can analyse it.

I'd suspect a texture.

All other things (Objects, Meshes, Materials) have a name assigned by default.
However, assume you have created a material and texture (type : image) channel for that material. In the Indigo specific material panel you need to specify the texture to be used for a Indigo material slot, e,g, Material Color or Bump etc.

Then you decide to rename the texture. You have to reassign the texture to the Indigo material slot.

If you went directly from renaming the texture to the render panel you'll get exactly that error.

Then you decide to reassign the texture and try to render the thing again and you'll get the same error because you choose an Image texture but forgot to actually load an image

Thanks, I guess I cleaned the texture part now.

But there is another error, see attachment:
Bildschirminhalt erfassen-1.jpg
What means "Object does not have duplis" ?

Kind regards
Alain

I had same error with a with a 2.49 scene open with 2.5? You have to re-path all your texture :)

sorry I remember, I deleted all your texture and changed there directory to be sure it didn't use the old path (because it did!!!). You can make test using one object/mat/texture on an another layer.

Ok, I'll test that.

Other question:
Is there no material Indigo-Preview in Blender ?
And is there no Indigo-Texture Preview in Blender ?

Kind regards
Alain

OK, now it exports without an error.
But Indigo RT doesnt start. Yes, I've set the path to indigo.exe.

I've have to start Indigo RT manually and load the *.igs file there.

What do I do wrong ?

Kind regards
Alain

You did check "AutoStart" right below the field for the Indigo executable path ?

Yes I did, I installed the "normal" version of Indigo now and it starts now.

But I still have some questions:
-Is there no material and no texture - preview in Blendigo ? Or do I have to set materials like blind cow ? :-)
-What does the error message "object has no duplis" exactly mean ? I have 2 particle systems in my scene (objects distributed over a plane), could that be the reason ?

I still have that error:
Bildschirminhalt erfassen-1.jpg
Can somebody help me please ? I'm very confused that not even such basics do work...

Kind regards

another one...
Bildschirminhalt erfassen-3.jpg
... what is wrong ?

Edit:
It happens when I activate Aperture Diffraction. Could it be a bug ?

Hi Alain,

Both those errors could be Blendigo bugs - I'll add them to the list of things to check & fix.

Cheers,
Doug,

And what about material- and texture preview ?
I can't believe such a basic function is not implemented in Blendigo.

I hope I did something wrong ;-)

Before, it was possible to export preview scene. Now you can't export from blendigo but you can still use preview scene and try your material.
