Technical question about indigo
Technical question about indigo
Ever since upgrading to the latest AMD cpu, I have been restricted to 2 GBs of RAM (my new mobo only has 2 slots.) Is there any particular reason why indigo would have more trouble with larger scenes?

You can buy 2 sticks of 2Gbs and have 4Gbs of RAM....
As for indigo, well if it runs out of memory on your RAM it'll probably have to use your hard drive which is notably slower, although I heard that on some versions of Windows you can have it use a USB thumb drive instead to speed things up but...I'm not sure.

Hi,
just for the record: IMHO using usb memory for this purpose is pointless. Flash memory is too slow and doesn't like constant wrinting/reading (it makes its life muuuch shorter)
