Check out this software to generate some nice HDR EnvMaps.. I don't know if after buying it you are allow to bundle some of the output with your commercial software... check it out and ask by yourself Ben :)

Just in case and because the tutorial is for 3dsmax. You can easily render out such HDRI maps
with LuxRender too. Setup your common Studio setup put a camera where the objects of desire
will be and use the environment camera. Don't forget to output an EXR tho. ;o))
