I don't really think, it's so hard:
I'm not sure of the programming advancedness but I guess, it'd be like a list of URLs which could be automatically extended... like, just link to the different sections of the gallery and choose one of the pics randomly.

More advanced would be, to prefer those pics which have a higher rating... :)

@Benn

Btw: I miss the quickreply function (to directly reply if you don't need to do more complex stuff like uploading pics)
And the upload function.

My idea of colours is darkish red or blue - maybe dark, low saturated Indigo (high saturated would just kill your eyes), for this forum... (as it's Indigo^^)

Please also fix the auto reply thing. (Activation- and Forgot Password-Mails) - they both don't work in the new forum.

Happy to be back: kram

P.S. I sent you a mail which you didn't reply yet. The main part is solved now: I wasn't able to login until I tried my very first password. I thought, old passwords would be overwritten by the new ones O.o Had at least 3 newer passwords since then. And only the oldest works. (Which of course is fine :))

The new banner looks good Ben! The only suggestions I would have is to move the logo down a little bit and also in the picture of the bathroom, the tap looks weird on the right? Is the logo at different positions when you are in the forum and at the main site? Weird. The forum position looks better imo

Could you please remove the black outline and shadow from the indigo-typo and logo in the header?
It's soooo unelegant... indigo doesn't deserve this!

WTF!!! Presently there's some random banners and as such having the outline is actually a good solution since it gives clarity when dealing with bright images as background.

This could be solved with a nice coloured background, too. For example. Or the logo does have to be designed for several purposes, being able to stand on either positive or negative coloured backgrounds.
That's what design is being called.
An outline should never be a solution for designing urges. It looks unprofessional and too comic-like to me.

I would have avoided it where I could.

But these are my personal two cent!

You can add my 0.02$ into this pot!

My old teachers back in school would slap me for even thinking about raping a existing Logo with Outlines to fit into some BG or whatever ^^

choose your Headline images wisely, and if needed use a very soft and very blurry and very subtle dark Glow around the Logo, so that it seems the image is a little darker at this area...
