Indigo Fur_ first test

Hello all, i realized this first test to make the fur....
I used the module hair & fur of 3dmax , do you know other methods?

Generally thats the way to go... most 3 Apps got their own Hair module,
but the best solution for such non complex examples would be generating Hair out of X different unique single hairs, and use th to flood the mesh with instances, rotation size etc. controlled by the Hair Module of your 3D app.

Does any Exporter atm support such workflow, for examples like carpets, "Five o'clock shadow" on face etc?

For the polycount instance is the best way to do it

Bah, what if you can do without instances ? If not, then... heh, they are the way to go !

You can imagine repeating the instancing process with different similarish hairs, though some apps would allow to randomly instantiate an arbitrary number of meshes onto a surface in one go.

Looks furry in my opinion filippo :)
