Where is the object's pivot point in Indigo?
In the exact center of a model?

Objects don't really have a 'pivot point'. But a rotation matrix will rotate the object around the origin of the coordinate system in which the vertex positions are given.

...which in theory means, that the "pivot point" is the exact same as in the modeller app... ?

This depends on the exporting methods... presuposedly yes.
