normals or smoothing problem ?

the diffuse part is, where the reflective part gets invisible, due to frenesel ;)
so, diffuse 1 1 1 reflects more light than 000! - the reflection wont be changed, though, I guess...

1 1 1 is the better choice, in my opinion.

Thats precisely why you want no diffuse on a mirror. Do whatever you want anyway :roll:

you could be right CTZn, can't see a difference tho.
