New Logo
In Fact the new logo was done by somebody who knows how to work with his Progs..... but thats it!OnoSendai wrote:The logo was created by a designer/graphic artist friend of mine.
The old logo was nice, but I felt it wasn't completely professional looking.
Don't get me wrong, but I just finished my school for communication design, and even if I wasn't the best student.... and also my illustration skills aren't that good.... but one thing I've learned, simply because its the basis of every advertisement, logo etc.
The created piece of work needs a message, something that its stands for something that it visualize in a funny, interesting or abstract way. Some Gimmick, a visual or content puzzle for the observer...
The old logo visualized rendering by a very tricky and unique way that is an a+. The new one hast simply no soul... the 4 colored object could be used for visualizing a light color effect that would fit to a renderer (because light is all its about) just like this in a more artistically way, but it missed this chance by placing some colored objects that tend to be funky.
Just because 95% of the Logos, advertisements etc. out there aren't fitting to whats I told above it doesn't mean that its OK if Indigo swims in this 95% pool....
If you wanted to archive that Indigo looks more professional to the public you choose the wrong way.
Why not keeping the Old illustrated Indigo Logo and think about a new more sexy Typo..... please!
I don't want to attack somebody by this, even if my comments may be close to the edge of being rude (my english isn't perfect ). So I apologize if I said this to harsh!
