Mhm, a linux version would make me throw Windows completly from my HDD.
Using Indigo is the only reason at the moment to keep Vista installed.

Ono
I am starting my teaching Job here at Kendall College this fall.
I am going to buy myself another mac mini to run as a render engine.
It will be connected to the internet and thus if you want I can give
U access to it over the net.
I very much would love to see Indigo also for OS X because I work a lot in Blender and Rhino4. Well Using Parallels is fine for modeling, but I doubt rendering because of memory performance.
I am also the new person here at the College to investigate their software
selection. I am actively trying to increase open source more and more because the students here only know 3DMax (urgh ...).
BTW why cannot i change my password in the forum? I always tells me the old password in the database does not match the (i forgot my password button) password i got via the email.

Ono, if you want to experiment with OS X, it's quite easy to install into a VM, or a separate partition on your box. I can direct you if you need more instructions.
I won't address the legal issues with that, because Apple won't just sell OSX standalone.

Kind of... interesting.

that is SO true, 'specially now that MS is selling vista for around 250 bucks for the best version.
I feel that vista should be max 20 bucks, and office around 9-12 dollars.
