It depends on hardware and resolution. My old AMD XP 2800 cleans up an 1024x800 exterior scene by 15 hours or so. It takes at least 2 days for me to get something reasonable out of interior scenes.
So.. it all depends on what hardware you are using. There is also a network rendering support.
