MLT and BiDir on GPU

Post by dr_zepsuj » Sat Feb 09, 2019 11:33 pm

Hi !

This has been mentioned few years ago and I am wondering if there is any progress on the subject?
I would like to see MLT and Bi Directional path-tracing on GPU in the near future :)

No progress on this currently sorry. We will probably look at adding GPU support for bidir, but not MLT.

That would be awesome news, Indigo already has one of the fastest GPU implementations had it had bidir...
