quick question regarding indigo's processing

when indigo is saving an igi or png to disk, is it still processing the render in the background at the same time?
reason i ask is that i run indigo off a network drive, so file saves take a little longer than if it was running locally.
it can take up to 2 - 3 mins to save the image file. is this 'lost' render time?

So how much time does the tonemapping take? If you want to tonemap later anyway, how much faster is the rendering if you turn off tonemapping?
I turned off bloom by default now, because it seems it takes quite a lot of time. And it's computed every time the image is saved, right?

Just increase time between saves to 1 minute.

I guess that's standard in blendigo anyway.
The point is: Does the render converge noticeably faster if tonemapping is turned off?

Can tonemapping be turned off ? I don't think so... it's a required element, and imo default settings doesn't mean no calculations...

If you select linear tonemapping it does not do any tm calculations, so that's turned off by my standards...

Ok, maybe you're right, I dunno... Maybe using Indigo Tone Mapper you can say how long it takes...
