Assigning GPU's

Post by budnikasr » Tue Feb 06, 2018 7:12 am

I have a brand new MSI Laptop 16GB of Mem, with 2 graphics controllers. An Intel HD630 for the internal display and a GTX1060 with 6GB of DDR5 memory. Also using sketchup pro 2018. With sketchup I go into the Nvidia control panel and assign the primary graphics controller. I can select the program via a drop down menu. I tried to do the same thing with Indigo, but had to manually add the program. I run both the sketchup and select the scene to render using indigo, but it is not using the nvidia gpu. I confirm this using GPU-Z.

Not sure that I am doing wrong, but would love some help on this.

Thanks,

Robert

Welcome to the forums!

You probably have to select the Nvidia GPU within Indigo standalone (in the OpenCL settings).
