convert it to exr and load it with the blendigo exporter. Click the environment button and choose environment map from the dropdown list, then click load and that's it.

@fused: could you pls give me the link you were talking about?

@paulo_gomes: That's exactly what I did, but I get the following error:
Fatal Error: ImageExcept: Error encountered while reading RAW image. (In element 'spherical', around line 31, column 9)

you can manually edit the xml (copied this from the manual ;)).

Code: Select all

<env_map>
    <lat_long>
        <path>probes/skylight-day.exr</path>
        <gain>1.0</gain>
    </lat_long>
</env_map>
or

Code: Select all

<env_map>
    <spherical>
        <path>probes/skylight-day.exr</path>
        <width>640</width>
        <gain>1.0</gain>
    </spherical>
</env_map>

ok, i think that for .exr you have to use latlong, for spherical you have to use .float
