Working on exporting an animation from Sketchup to Indigo. There are generally 100+ images per animation and going through each .igi file after they are complete and changing all the light layers is too much time.
Is there any way to set the light layers before/during/after the animation so that all of the light layers are identical? Thanks for your help.
Managing Render Queue Light Layers
Re: Managing Render Queue Light Layers
You would need an advanced text editor with support for 'regular expressions' (wildcards), something tricky to handle for beginners (including for myself). There are such free programs though. Better off exporting again ?

Hey ngriffin,
in the C4D exporter you can edit LightLayers and even animate stuff inside the PlugIn and then export,
maybe this functionality is missing in the sketchup version...
I suggest you render your lights in separate animations,
lay each of these over each other in your Video editing software.
This may sound like costing much extra time, but each of this shots with only one light enabled will render way faster then all lights at once! You also keep all the flexibility to edit your stuff the way you like in PostPro.
(use the untonemapped EXR files for full range 32bit editing fun!)
