Re: New features in dev - arch glass and new exit portals
Sorry for bumping into a 2013 thread, but I'm just getting acquainted with Indigo these days. Are these the portals and arch glass present in 3.8.29? Or are they still to be implemented? If so, how long still for them to become official?

Alvaro

Re: New features in dev - arch glass and new exit portals
Thank you Snorky
I've tried them both, arch glass works great but exit portals don't show anything behind them However,Oscar J already told me that the workaround (for now) is to model an exit portal box around the meshes you want to be visible. I hope they fix the portals soon And I also hope Indigo implements the other rendering methods for GPU since they seem to have been experimenting on it for some time (it was announced back in 2010). It's a shame that sunsky doesn't "pass through" portals when you render with GPU.

Alvaro

Would be great if a dev would chip in and explain what happened to these exit portals. They seemed great.
Re: New features in dev - arch glass and new exit portals
Is it me or arch glass is not capable to exploit coated specular material?
