"Aborting network render..."

Post by Jeff Hammond » Fri Jun 15, 2012 5:58 pm

"Aborting network render, image dimensions exceed unlicensed limit. Connection to master terminated. "

what's that all about? I never had this problem before..
I'm doing something at 4000 x 2560... 4 more cores sure would be nice right about now. ;)

thanks

As the message tells clearly your slave isn't licensed!
It only can render in lower resolution of max 0.7 megapixel!

If Hardware of the slave changed the license could get invalid, recheck and contact support via eMail to get a reset or something like that!

right .. thanks.. i sorta figure that out a minute after i made the post :)

i'm using a new(ish) laptop for the slave..

can't figure out how to get a node license though.. i should have another available to me ?

the link via my confirmation email takes me nowhere (well, nowhere as far a getting a node license is concerned)

also, i had my email address on my license changed.. maybe that has something to do with it?

i'll hit up the glare boys tomorrow.. sort of over it for now.

On your private Store page, you'll have entry boxes for two Node licences that come with your main Indigo licence. If you enter the hardware keys of your network render boxes in here, you get licence keys for them that allow them to render at full res over the network.

So much for private :P Yes, that's the one, and it should have two node licences with it! I'll add those now, sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: Done, check the page again :)

thanks!

didn't even have to restart the render or anything.. the slave just jumped right in to the existing process.. all is going fine now.

[edit] oh, nice.. didn't' realize these i7 chips have double the amount of threads (mbp).. i mean, i've heard about it etc but i'm now seeing it action
