seems like a neat idea.

to start with it might be an idea to write a seperate client program to control indigo, just to prove the system will work, without introducing new (possibly quite buggy) things into the indigo build.

also, I am quite proficient in PHP/MySQL - and would volunteer to help, but i'm likely to be very very busy over the next couple of months.

If anything ever happens much further down the line and you still need help, let me know and I'll see if I have the time then.

General idea seems solid.
Using a database for the network server sounds good, makes it easy to strap on a web interface.
I would prefer the network client to be a different process from Indigo tho, one that would start Indigo to get work done.

Hi radiance...

yesterday i rendered an animation using DrQueue...

www.drqueue.org

it was a bit of a hack to find out how to code my own
script for it but then it ran fine... so far only animation is possible
but it would be an ease to change it to work with distrib...

So if you need any advice on how to script let me know...

It#s a bit work to get it to work on windows but i know now..;)

cheers

u3dreal ;)
