This is a test to make sure that the new board sign-on does work like it's meant to. It appears that it does. :D

And if you refresh your browser you'll get a slight more fancy pants forum posting layout. :)

Hey, benn. I had an idea for the website (the top menu). Maybe when you mouse over the different sections, they could scale a bit (kind of like the apple) dock?

Not possible without Flash. And a flash navigation bar is... a bad idea.

Why is that? Flash is pretty much ubiquitous (who doesn't watch youtube), so comparability issues are pretty much out of the question. imo, flash helps to make things feel much more lively and less "static."

youtube ...
we are not on youtube, we are on a professional website, and a flash navigation bar is always a bad idea, even for youtube (their navigation bar is not in flash) because well ... it's flash ! It's heavy (not sure of the term ?), everybody doesn't have it (on linux especially) ...

But what neoO asked is also possible with jQuery, so yeah it's possible.

But it would be useless, of course :-D

It's not that we can't run Flash, it's that Flash navigation bars are tacky.
