No lyrics for me, they stuck my imagination to the ground they settle most of the time. For the least they must be part of the rythm. Instrumentals/electronica/world/whatever, no preferences as soon as it pleases my guts. One thing: rock has always moslty slipped on me, but for the drums.

Recently I was having a laugh at play.fm's tagging, but I enjoyed some mixes there (root dub/minimal techno/experimental, sometimes hardhouse/hardtech/ragga/dancehall when i need a boost).

Ok, let's play the game. In general I like what those artist do:

- Chomp Samba, Amon Tobin. It awaked me many mornings !

- Up, Burstle & Out. Originated from Bristol I think. They do very different records you can find on their albums (amongst them: One Colour Just Reflects Another :)): world music/ambiances, hip-hop, ragga and more.

- Tabla Beat Science, I found Tabla Matrix fun and pretty cool. Mengedenga.

Better lesson to Asian Dub Fundation ?

- Young Gods, but mostly for their own, outstanding remixes of Only Heaven (=> Heaven Deconstruction). A must have. It's not a french but belgian group !

- Brain Damage, Spoken Dub Manifesto, The Beer Mystics Last Day on the Planet.

Roots Manuva, Salmonella Dub. Mad Professor & Lee Scratch Perry, Dub Take the Voodoo Out Of Reggae.

Only grownup vibes !!!

How could I forget to mention Fela Ransome Kuti, full of joy. Aah, Nusrat Fati ali Khan.

Was I OT ? Oops

Off-topism diagnosis ? Take it easy, I take crits the same way but noone never tries me out, even for friday night posts :)

Actually it's not a problem if you don't like these tracks, in general I'm listening to music more than to artists. I just had to name a few I bumped into ^^

Ah, links... **wonders how video clips look like** ehrr... oh, youtube  meh...

Edited post above, I hope that's better now PureSpider, sorry about that.

Wow. This is what I mean about guts, the style does not matter. What matters to me is that this guy is a product of himself, so to say. That's also to say that he was not made as a product for consumers (see his label).

btw PS: subfocus e: removed dead link
