Which moniter...

Post by BBjam » Wed Dec 09, 2009 10:53 am

Well I am buying a new monitor to go with the new computer I am building which will run the new indigo I bought to render the new art I will create on the new computer I am building which is why I need a new monitor.(phew)
Unfortunately the MAX I can spend is about $300. There doesn't seem to be any monitors in that range that use S-IPS or S-PVC panels. The other kind of panel, TN, supposedly makes for ugly colors. I have used the (doutlessly bad) LCD panel on my laptop for all my art up to now, and never been bothered, so I will probably get this one.

I can just recommend Samsung!

Thank you for your prompt replies.
According to this list there are a couple of S-IPS monitors in my price range, but they are either smallish (1600 x 1000 or so), or only available used.
If the 2243BW is good, do you think the 2343BWX would also be good, because it's in the same model number range?
