This is just pathetic. It shows how far this community has declined.

1. I am not the community
2. You Big Fan, have always rejected the idea of a community. Don't ask me for evidences because that would unveil the meaning of 'pathethic'.

Couldn't you figure out that was my point ?

CZTn has a point here. there are lots of situations in the lux forums where i could point to my c4d exporter for indigo (because... well... LuxC4D sucks at the moment, no materials, etc. soz abstrax :) ). do i?

HELL, NO!

its not only inappropriate but also quite intrusive. (imagine a bmw dealer butting in while a ford dealer tries to talk someone into getting a ford)

It all have to do on how you deal with it. You can perfectly point to cindigo, after all you have lots of experience you'd gained doing it and as such it can be perfectly acceptable to talk about it, there's more then just trash the 'competition'...

Since I was quoting you Big Fan it seemed obvious that you had to be aware :) e: Precisely I invited you not to answer me if you didn't want to, that's a bit false-ish to state otherwise...

I'm biting, and I'm not dropping the bird easily. It's not only ego, I'm adopting a public attitude in front of a similar one from Big Fan wich fused qualified properly.

Letting him go in silence would be harmfull in my opinion. Watch it mate. It's cool to talk about war, making it is something different and no one wants that.

Jaws open, no more hit and run right ?

edit: PS: Besides, anyone wanting to criticize my attitude here, or in the forum in general is welcome to do so. I have choosed in my mind and consciousness to do what I'm doing around Indigo and I'm happy with that, that's unlikely to change; hence I'm very active on the forum. I'd be glad to adapt my attitude if I have feedback on it.

cheers

smarty's no doubt a good fellow but he's been pretty slow updating Blendigo with the new Indigo stuff...a bit more to go too..

@benn
so anyone can make an exporter for commercial Indigo?
if I choose to update my 1.1.8 Blendigo variant for Blender 2.5 and make it available under GPL to the Blender community people could take it and extend and modify it for use with Indigo 2.0+ without issue from Glare?
The bigger the fan, the more air is moved. Very panicking I must say, but so fresh !

Yes, what if that was you, Big Fan !? Ah no, you didn't want to cooperate it seems. Cooperate with... err... to... ah, I can't remember, what was that already ? You are a supportive soul, no doubts.

What if... Oh dear, watch the step !

Too late ?

 Yes it is.

Oh and by the way:

1° smartden commitment may have a few digits to feature
2° not to mention Glare's signature.

You didn't see the first coming, and then, you did, and are still doing anything in attempt to break confidence apart here.

How will (sorry: would) you get the second, now ?

Do what you want (as far as I'm concerned that is), but Glare has the control, that's for sure.

Try again ?

Indeed, answering you straight is already going to far. Heh, I used your own wording.
Big Fan wrote:I am actually a nice guy you know ;)
worth mentioning, but the rethorical technique is lame. Are you serious ?
Big Fan wrote:but there are limits to my patience for silly nonsense.
Nonsense... is that when someone states something, then the contrary, bits then licks ?

etc, etc...

Men, that's not even funny anymore.

my, my you do get yourself all worked up dont you?....

I feel embarrassed for Glare that they have this spleen thread on their nice new commercial site so I'll leave you to have a wee stomp and spit session on your own here.

hopefully some self regulation comes along...
