Indigo in the Journal of Molecular Biology

Post by v_mulligan » Sat Sep 06, 2008 10:41 am

I've got a paper that will be appearing in the Journal of Molecular Biology soon. Fig. 1 shows the structure of SOD1, the protein on which I work, and it was rendered with Indigo 1.0.8.

The accepted manuscript is now online, and the final version of the paper should be out before long. Here's the link to the abstract on PubMed. The PubMed page has a link to the accepted manuscript.

Holy shit, I know that magazine.

...not in an academic sense, though. Last job I worked at sold immunoassays (I worked in marketing, so I'm familiar with the industry magazines)

And I did some protein renders as well as concepts for some ads.. but there's not much to show (just looks like squiggly lines from a distance, not exactly attention grabbing). Can you post an image of it?

I will once the final version is out, provided I have the right to do so. I need to double-check whether I'm allowed to reproduce parts of the manuscript elsewhere.
