:/ i have found most of the indi users DA accounts ;) and a few have found mine :P not really worth a thread, spose its good for a few page views.

btw stop making anime/game wallpapers ;P it drains artistic ability. slowely, like an unplugged bath full of double cream and cotton wool.

i mean that in the most positive of positive ways :P

thanks :D

Yeah it's my natural talent, I was born to be an artist, I've been drawing things since I was a 3-4 years old 8)

I just never made use of that talent in a professional way to earn a living or go onto bigger and better things. Not from lack of trying either. I studied graphic design. I did apply for odd artistic jobs, comics and fashion, and even at Disney, but competition is fierce! :(

That's also why I struggle a bit with the 3D/Modelling/Computer side of things, I'm more a feel/imagination artistic person, not a maths/technical/coder type. A Graphic tablet helps, but I wish 3D modelling was more like drawing :?

The creature creator in Spore is more like what I hope 3D Modelling will be like one day. Being able to mold and sculpt things easily. I know ZBrush and those types of programs sort of do that, but still not that easy to use.

Yep, that's what I've always thought. At least some degree of artistic talent is needed to do such stuff. I have zero drawing and zero math skills, but I still love 3D for some reason. You can easily "model" a "perfect cube" in 3D without any skills and that's cool 8)
