:/ i have found most of the indi users DA accounts and a few have found mine not really worth a thread, spose its good for a few page views.
btw stop making anime/game wallpapers ;P it drains artistic ability. slowely, like an unplugged bath full of double cream and cotton wool.
i mean that in the most positive of positive ways

this is some of my very old beggining in the 3d world, i used to paint those on walls, always legally tho... well, some tags were not legal hehehe, you know, well that was my hobby before i discovered blender, and indigo of course... you can check all my drawings in this (5 year old) web (i was 14 when i drew those): http://geocities.com/nyheto1/imagenes.html
hehehe i think it's not 2d, but traditional art... anyway, it's 2d cause it's on plain paper!!!

Cool stuff !
The Amiga drawing looks awesome
Yeah it's my natural talent, I was born to be an artist, I've been drawing things since I was a 3-4 years old
I just never made use of that talent in a professional way to earn a living or go onto bigger and better things. Not from lack of trying either. I studied graphic design. I did apply for odd artistic jobs, comics and fashion, and even at Disney, but competition is fierce!
That's also why I struggle a bit with the 3D/Modelling/Computer side of things, I'm more a feel/imagination artistic person, not a maths/technical/coder type. A Graphic tablet helps, but I wish 3D modelling was more like drawing
The creature creator in Spore is more like what I hope 3D Modelling will be like one day. Being able to mold and sculpt things easily. I know ZBrush and those types of programs sort of do that, but still not that easy to use.
This thread motivated me to create an deviantart account .... so here it is:
http://manitwo.deviantart.com/
Nearly no 2D and 3D things in it yet but i will upload something in the next days .... (hopefully)
