Re: MAC OS SIERRA AND GPU RENDERING
I would take the contents of that blog post with a grain of salt: their product seems to be based on the opensource Flam4 engine (in violation of the GPL and Mac App Store rules, but that's another matter) which was very poorly implemented. Also, they are known for making outrageous performance claims, meanwhile the CPU-only Chaotica beats them in both rendering speed and image quality (by a mile).
Re: MAC OS SIERRA AND GPU RENDERING
Chaotica has been a little forgotten?
It would render GPU!

Re: MAC OS SIERRA AND GPU RENDERING
Clearly GPU-ness alone is not enough, it certainly doesn't help them to beat normal desktop CPUs
It's true that a Chaotica update is overdue, I hope to do a dev update about it soon.
