Monsters University - path tracing

Apparently it's the first Pixar film that uses brute force path tracing - looks it :)
I noticed some scenes with the classic burnt out look etc, and overall nice lighting
Looks more like models and puppets than animation

Building and asphalt in the second image looks badly textured, no?

Looks fine in motion - motion blur most likely

Honestly I didn't even notice anything until you mentioned it
