Gran Turismo 6
Gran Turismo 6
It's that time of the year again
E3 trailer

New Photomode depth of field looks way better
Apparently the Game's new HDR engine has 50x more dynamic range than GT5
Can't wait to see what GT6's Bathurst looks like!

Re: Gran Turismo 6
Photo textures, but they can be a bit low res up close, PS3 only has 256MB of video ram
The shallow depth of field make it look better
I took this in GT5

Real background location from Google earth
Re: Gran Turismo 6
Seen that too, looks very promising!
Makes me think a bit what deadendthrills has done to Gran Turismo 5 with oversampling etc. really hope they can get somewhat close to it on the PS4 in terms of aliasing.
He did the screenshots in 4K and MSAA if I recall right:

Re: Gran Turismo 6
I want to like GT6... but between the crappy car/engine sounds and so so physics, it looks like I'll be swinging over to the Dark Side... (Forza 5).

The engine sounds are place holders from what I heard.Voytech wrote:I want to like GT6... but between the crappy car/engine sounds and so so physics, it looks like I'll be swinging over to the Dark Side... (Forza 5).
I thought the physics (tyre/suspension) are a nice improvement from GT5.
Re: Gran Turismo 6
More physics testing, this time with the GT-R, sunny day at Silverstone looks great.
Suprised how long the skid marks stay, since the PS3 doesnt have much ram!

Almost time to - start your engines

Time Transition & Astronomy Effects

finally wheel size upgrades - and judging by the scroll bar, a lot more wheels
Body Repairs...
damn some cars have detailed underbodies, unlike the flat bottom of GT5
Photo mode seems to allow more than 1 car now, and driver
