Intel i7-2600K vs GTX 660 (Ti)

Hello guys!

What do you think is a GTX 660 (Ti) could replace an i7 2600K cpu ? I would like to buy a new machine for rendering but I am not sure I stay on CPU line or just change to the new GPU one ?

Is that possible to compare he two hardware by benchmark results ? (Cinebench, 3D Mark)

You need to consider the rendering modes you use mostly.

GPU rendering currently only does path tracing (PT), Bi-Dir PT isn't currently supported under GPU rendering and using MLT in combination with PT or Bi-Dir also not.

It is a little annoying to me since I have a GTX 580 3GB card that isn't a useful in rendering as I hoped it would be.
