Blender Open Movie Project - Codename Mango

Post by Borgleader » Sat Dec 24, 2011 3:20 pm

Hi all :) It's me again, promoting a Blender project ... again ;)

This time around the movie will be sci-fi theme which has got me even more hyped than before!
Here's a link to some concept art.

During this project, the goal is to push the limits of Blender's VFX pipeline.
Project Mango wrote:Special attention will be spent on motion tracking, color pipelines, Global Illumination render, grading and masking, and just ensure the Blender 2.6x series keeps being well tested and improved.
You can also contribute to the project through the same website (I won't give too many details, those of you interested will find the link quite easily).

Thoughts?

I have been one of those people that are really interested with Blender, as it is something that will be used very well on the more unofficial side of the whole set.

There just are things that are enjoyable free and what other way to make it work all the more than seeing how it is to actually make them work.

With this release, it just makes for something that will be really enjoyable and useful from both ends.
