[REQ] Access to normals and camera details in ISL

Post by MSUdom5 » Thu Mar 19, 2009 4:33 am

Being able to access mesh normals and camera information within ISL could help achieve some pretty cool material effects. For example, you could blend materials based on the relationship between normal and camera directions.

Thin Film Coating which leads to TFI... Thin Film Interference ;)
My preference is "The Filipino Channel" though :)

PS: "Terrace F. Club, an eating club at Princeton university" sounds good aswell :D

Yep, that effect could be achieved given access to normals and camera direction.
