Sometimes there's multiple errors in a igs generated file, and indigo jumps at the first, leaving the others 'unrevealed', which depending on the complexity of the scene can take a lot to deal with them all. My suggestion would be to check for the integrity of the scene before starting it all up and checking if there's some error(s) and generate a log report if it has.
