export problem

Post by filippo » Fri Dec 19, 2008 11:18 pm

In many scenes Indigo falls in error during the export, apparently without reason.
Just delete the object with problems and solve everything.
There are some types of objects Indigo does not work?
I use indigo whit maxigo

filippo, please report the error message Indigo gives you every time you ask for this kind of help, and the Indigo version too (because tolerance to geometry changes with versions). This is important information to understand what is happening.

For instances meshes without UVs should not work, but maybe they can work with the latest version (need confirmation, I'm not sure that's the case).

as far as i know meshes should have at least 1 uv coordinate. at least with the obj, embedded_2 and igmesh format.

Hey Filippo,

Could you upload a model maybe? Any model, that doesn't work for you. In a format, that Max 9 can read. I could then take a look at this.

Are the material names different for different models?
