[BUG] Problem trying to open a file .igs

Post by Pilantra » Thu Jul 31, 2008 5:15 am

Hi All,

I'm using the Debian Lenny and the Indigo 1.0.9_2. When I click on the option, the File menu, Indigo Open Scene, it returns the following error:
anderson@debian:~/indigo_linux_v1.0.9_2$ ./indigo

(indigo:4997): libgnomevfs-CRITICAL **: gnome_vfs_get_uri_from_local_path: assertion `g_path_is_absolute (local_full_path)' failed
The problem is in code or lack any library in my system?

Please, help me.

Best Regards.

I guess you guys need a Linux forum...

Hello Pilantra, I'm running a standardized OS so I can't help, plus I have no network experience, BUT, I never heard about email addresses feeding Indigo  Kidding, but really I thing an ip address or advanced server naming conventions (sorry I'm a noob at this) would do better.

Hold on, more help is coming ;)

Please, help me. I'd like to stop using the Wine and use the version of Linux.

Pilantra,

I never had any luck running the linux build of the Indigo GUI. The linux build of indigo_console worked fine though.

For me, the Windows version has always worked extremely well via Wine in Linux. Are you having problems with Wine+Indigo?

With Wine + Indigo works. Only linux build. I would like to use version of Linux, because the performance would be better. I guess.

I really don't notice that big of a difference in performance. I'm using 1.1.7, and only experience a 10-20% slowdown when moving to Linux via Wine.

Ok, I'll continue using the Indigo with Wine.

Thank you.

Best Regards.
