i was making books for my scene and the way i modled it i had a front back binding & paper (1.2k polies do to my lazy modeling) that are inside a null object and then copy pasted them for a total of about 40ish books on a shelf. when i try to render this with indigo it is drasticaly slowed down from 14k mutation per thread to 176 mutations per thread. ive done higher polygon testcounts in indego that have worked fine, so does indigo not handle multiple objects well? is it fixable?
EDIT: just remodeld it so that each book was 5 polygons, and now it renders even slower at 15 mutations per second !!! im so conufsed
EDIT: the scene is down to 90,114 polygons 157 objects. When the books arnt there (175 polygons 21 objects) it renders in indego fine. With them .6t1 wont render (keeps saying 0 mutations) and .5t7 after 2 minutes of waiteing shows up with 17 mutations a second
still dont know whats wrong, but 6t5 is my savior! 24k mutations per second on one thread!
