[REQ] rotation of background HDRI

Post by ViennaLinux » Sat Jul 28, 2007 9:10 am

Hi.
There is not paramter for rotating the HDR background image. so you have to accept the angle you get from indigo.

I think its not implemented yet (its not in the 0.8 reference manual)
It would be really nice and I think its not that hard.

yeah would be nice too.
I just added an texture on a plane to fake the HDRI background but how can i make this texture brighter? even if I raise the tex gamma from 2.3 (default in blendigo) to 3.0 - nothing changes?

So how can you influence the brightness of albedos?

Yes, this is something I have requested also. At least the ability to see where the HDRI image is in relation to the model.

I guess you'd have to mess with the tonemapping in Violet instead.

Was this ever implemented? There is no way to rotate an HDRI from Blendigo, but is it even possible for Indigo?

Yes, it is possible for Indigo. Actually for quite a while already.
