Motionblur

Post by zeitmeister » Thu Apr 07, 2016 11:59 pm

Hey there,
could someone of the Defs tell me some details concerning motionblur?
What does motionblur "like" and what not?
In my scene, I have a moving camera, rigged to a moving object.
The render time increases tremendeously.
Does it depend on how complex the tree structure of the moving object is (many groups and single objects)? Or is the combibation of both what slows it down so much?

Thank you in advance!

Cheers, zeiti

object motion blur is really not optimised very well. Send over the scene and we can take a look at it.

Zeit.
Maybe it's the cam calibration.
If you have a cool looking but irrealistic cam setup that would slow things down in a big way.
Try using a longer expo but maintain the apperture @ 2.1 max.
Hope this helps a bit.

Cam settings are quite regular:
Fstop 30, exposure duration 60...
I will try it!
