I think some things from windows 10 might be nice, for example the live tiles. These could be used to let users gauge what's what for the file browser. If something like "snapshots" of your scene are implemented, all the snapshots could be displayed as live tiles.

Dragging a material into indigo should import the material instead of taking over your render probably. ;

^ That one I agree with actually. Except when there's no scene open.

No way to delete materials directly in indigo from what I can see either. Error messages could be a bit clearer too. I mean, the average person has no idea what "Error while building scene: Error while loading emission scales: No material with UID 128 assigned to model. (model UID: 261)" And yes, this is why I wanted to request deleting material, or atleast a tempory "hide" feature" :) Instead of giving us codes that we have to come on the forums to get our david caruso on and investigate why not simply give us generic messages and then highlight the material in the material browser that is causing the problem?

Will Indigo 4 feature 3D gizmos for objects transformations ? Yeah the text-editor-level "edit" menu with no ability for deletion is quite raging.
obsolete asset

UI req compilation from previous topic:
- drag and drop textures/isl to slots
- copy/paste textures, color values, whole materials
- drop down texture selection from loaded ones
