[REQ] add emission scale to Blendigo External Material

Post by Headroom » Thu Jun 18, 2015 10:47 am

The only material type in Blendigo that is not provided with an Emission Scale setting is the External Material. As discussed in two other threads Emission Scale is really an Object property and not a Material property so adding it also to the External material would not interfere with the External Material definition but really help in having some controls over external materials that serve as light sources, e.g LEDs that are defined with tabulated spectra such as the blue LED in the mat DB.

I've taken a look at the Blendigo source and I may take a stab at it myself. It looks like it should be achievable. But if anyone from Glare wants to beat me too it. Please don't hold back ;-)
