user bug: values multiplied by zero returnin extreme results

Post by CTZn » Fri Oct 31, 2014 3:48 am

edit: my mistake, there is no such Indigo bug. The shared code was duplicated into the parameter shader on which I worked quite some time until conflicts became obvious. I even halted my PC in order to repeat the said bug. I understood my mistake this Saturday night...

in fact, whole terms get ignored in definitions intermediary to eval(), wich in turn responds normally if modified.

Attaching file through a different device...

The shader is displacement. Values are multiplied by zero in several instances yet yield a differentiated output.
