Hi,

I have some crashs (sometimes), always because qtgui, but can't remember during which operation it happens.
Anyone have the same problem ?

I can send console report of the last one to help.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Patrice,

can you email the crash report to support@indigorenderer.com? I'll have a look at it.

Regards,
Yves

Hi Patrice,

unfortunately the crash report didn't help identifying the issue.

Does this only happen with a specific indigo scene or is it a general problem?

When it happens again, can you try to write down the last few steps that caused the problem?

I also get a crash related to QtGui.

this just recently happened while adjusting the gamma setting on an image texture used by one of my materials - basically I highlighted the value of 2.2 in gamma and typed in 1.0 and indigo crashed.

and then another crash just now using the same material, while tweaking UV settings in the texture window. I had clicked in the U field and was using the up and down arrows to increase and decrease the default value of 1.0 to shift the image texture mapping.

not sure if this is the same as Patrice's error, but I thought this would be a good place to note it.

ok, I actually kind of figured this out for my case - my image texture was relatively tall and thin. I patterned it into a square format image and all is working. so the tall, thin image texture will load in Indigo and render, but when I try to tweak image values I get crashes.

I seem to remember other 3D programs advising to always use power-of-2 images for uv mapping. maybe there should be a warning there from Indigo when a potentially problematic image is used?
