The two middle objects do not render but they are in the 3d left window.
And shadows are not ok

[bug] Can anybody tell me what is wrong with this scene?
Re: [bug] Can anybody tell me what is wrong with this scene?
here is a screen shot:
the shadows are wrong as if indigo did not handle some kind of bugy object data well.
CTZn please take a look, this happens also in mti_3.2.5.2.
The 6 middle objects have animation in maya and the rest are static.
there are 3 pairs of objects in the middle of the scene and the middle ones that appear on the left side top 3D view do not appear in the render.the shadows are wrong as if indigo did not handle some kind of bugy object data well.

Re: [bug] Can anybody tell me what is wrong with this scene?
That sounds like you have motion blur activated, and maybe that much that you can't notice anything anymore, because the object is just 1/10 of 10 "animation subframes" visible to the camera.ior wrote:The 6 middle objects have animation in maya and the rest are static.
(The numerics are only for example here)
Reduce your exposure time, and the object should "reapear"

Re: [bug] Can anybody tell me what is wrong with this scene?
I managed to put things working in this scene in maya.
I deleted the floor and walls (didn't have time to investigate what is wrong with these) and made new ones and shadows are OK now. Gave a rotation of 0.0001 degrees in the group were the middle objects were in and the objects appeared in the render, the rotation of the group could not be 0, if so the objects did not appear.

You broke Indigo, you monster!
This is one problem:
The axis is invalid (needs to be normalisable / non-zero), even if the rotation angle is zero.
This is one problem:
Code: Select all
<rotation_quaternion>
<axis>0 0 -0</axis>
<angle>-0</angle>
</rotation_quaternion>
Re: [bug] Can anybody tell me what is wrong with this scene?
Depending on the object path and speed, what you said Zom-b could happen.
If I understand correctly the bug is Indigo's ?

Interesting, and well spotted ior.ior wrote:the rotation of the group could not be 0, if so the objects did not appear.
