[REQ]Save to disk/Pause/resume rendering

Post by deltaepsylon » Fri Jan 12, 2007 10:03 am

It would be nice to have indigo be able to save a render progress so that it can resume from that point, as well as the usual x second PNG save, so that one could save the progress, and come back later to the render.

Also, it would be nice to have indigo be able to pause a render, and resume. Sometimes, i start an indigo scene, then i want to see a good preview. So i render it with yafray or blender internal. but that becomes a bit too slow with yafray/blender internal sharing processor power with Indigo.

Also, what makes for faster rendering? Faster processor? or better ram?
