REQ: Light layers in meshlight

Post by delle » Wed Nov 10, 2010 1:48 am

Hi, is it possible to add the tag <Layer> to a meshlight?

I know meshlight is deprecated and I can use a normal mesh with an emitting material .... but .... with meshlight I can use the tag <efficacy_scale>, so I can specify a "power_drawn" value in Watt which is very handy because I can define a wattage for any complex shape I create and Indigo calculates the right emission scale. With normal meshes (<model>) I have layers but I have to mess with area calculations, lumens, lux, ...

So my request is:

1) Please add <layers> to <meshlight>
or
2) Please add <efficacy_scale> to normal objects (<model>)

Please, please, please....
