I was fooling around with FF7 characters. Here's render after 4 days - 2 passes (1 for reflectors and 2 for the sun), combined in Gimp. Modelled with Blender.
How do You like it?

Lovely, you get a fanboy bonus from me, loved FF7 with all my heart.
Alright, now the critique: definitely ease up on the DoF, it's way to strong. The railing needs more subsurfing since the edges are visible. The background is a little bleak, give us a Macro reactor or something. The camera angle seems weird, but that could be because of the DoF.
Again, lovely idea and the characters look like straight out of the game's FMV.
edit:
Oh, and make sure to put the camera's focus on the faces where it belongs instead of the wagon's wheel.

That focus is funny thing - i placed it on the face, and it seems out of focus. Maybe it's some kind of a bug...
It was rather a test scene that worked out fine, than a complete project. I was working on that models, because I need them as a little detail for a much bigger scene (filled with MY models ).
Anyway, thanks for Your opinion .
