Well guys, this scene has 4 light layers and it was cooked too much, because I wanted to see if the dots on the glass disappeared and I have solved wit the post processing in PS.
However, the image has cooked 68h 39 min for a total of 5300 spp on my quad core, i use Indigo 1.1.18.
The size of the original render is 1800x1050

A special thanks to all members of Indigo Italy who helped me!

Suggestions are welcome: D

I love the atmosphere you've created through the lighting and colors. Excellent work!
I'm not a big fan of the carpet but that's just me ... ;o))

take care

Thanks for the compliments Psor! Making a carpet with SketchUp was very difficult! :?

I like overal mood. Quality is excellent but with deeper view, there is couple of mistakes..for example unreal huge glass on stairs and table, and bad glass material material (ior), texture mapping, too big tiles imho. But overal, good quality. In the future, take a look on small details and realworld values of ur models/material. Scene will be better and more real! :D

Nice one Nick!!!
I like the atmosphere too!
Making a carpet with SketchUp was very difficult!
=> How did you achieve making a carpet with SU???

Second question (if I may...)
=> Would you be able to share the light settings of your table lamp? (I think it's one of the trickiest settings in Indigo...)
:?

Hi madcoo!

1.CARPET

I made very easily: I created a base and I have repeated many times over the strands of grass!!

I share my model:

2.LIGHT SETTING

The lamp on the table is set with a file. Ies, provided by the manufacturer!!!! The lamp in question is called the Monna Lisa!!! I don't remember where I got the 3D model!!!! I'm sorry...

bye!

I'm at work right now so I can't open the .skp file, but you can be sure I'll have a look as soon as I'm back home!

Many thanks again and... congrats, that's great work!
