Empty ET-425 Train By Night

Post by zeitmeister » Wed Dec 09, 2009 10:30 pm

An old model, originally modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D commercially for an exhibition furniture in early 2006, revisited by Indigo just for fun.
Postwork in PS: tonemapping, color correction, chromatic aberation.

Not very pleasant, but technical... and a great test scene for Indigo.

Nice!

I'm pretty sure they have these trains here in Ottawa! I used to take it everyday to get to school and those seats look veeeery familiar :) )

Thank you very much!
The model is very lacky... notice the top left, and materials sure could have been improved much more. But it was a more or less quick test besides my daily work...
Cheers, David

It is pleasant to me. There are no structures for realism.

Thank you!
As I said, this is a very basic model which lacks lots of detail. My intend was a quick material converison test of an old scene, and I was surprised by the uncomplicated result... so I posted it. :-)
Cheers, David

It was meant that way!
I only needed to tweak the glass material and used a stell material from the MatDB for the Haltestangen... and then let it render.
I think that's a major step for me in thinking of being able to use Indigo commercially. If only the render size limitation weren't there, this could have been my first commercial project. Sooo close! :D
Cheers, David
