Somewhere in Liège revisited

Post by enricocerica » Sun Nov 15, 2009 8:03 am

Hi,

Here are some new shots of an old scene I revisited. I fix some material maps, still some work to do on it but stop for now ...

Some prospro for tonemapping, chroma aberration and to fix some details for closeups.

The rendering was really fast, about 40min by image (1200x900) on a i7 (8 threads) !!

I do remember the scene. ;) It looks quite good. Some textures could have higher resolution tho.

Keep it up! 8)

take care

Great work, though I definitely agree that some of the textures could be higher-resolution.

ps : for english people : please excuse my comment in french, but there are so few french pictures that I couln't comment this one in english, I promise you this is the first and the last time :-D

hi
I am very impressed! yes, except that some textures could be higher definition, the overall job is totally realistic.

Really like these - the angle, the DoF, the lighting - pretty much everything.

Agree that some fo the textures could be higher res

then it would look real!

Thanks for comments,

Indeed some textures require some more resolution, I changed some of them but I didn't spent too much time on that old scene.

@everwind: Du français !? Que c'est étrange  Yes, I published it on CGtalk but also on that forum and I made a "just after the rain" version : http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... &view=next
